Recently, I've been trying to stretch my range as a writer. This has been attempted in a myriad of ways, but most notably has been my entry into forensics in the event category "Program Oral Interpretive" (abbreviated as POI). It's essentially the synthesis of a bunch of different pre-written material that you source yourself under the guise of a common theme. I, being the person I am, chose political polarization as my topic. Why did I pick a very complex topic for a category that only has 8 mins max to present? Haha! I wish I could tell you.
I am learning a lot, though. But I'll need to lock in over winter break to finish the script so I don't make a fool of myself at the first tournament.
